Our goal is to spread awareness of the current humanitarian crises in Yemen. Although humanitarian crises have been appearing all across the world in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, Yemen has had it the worst. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Yemen was going through a civil war and still currently is. The war displaced millions of people, created food shortages across the country, and has done a lot more damage to the Yemeni people.
Yemen is going through the biggest Humanitarian crisis in the world.
Approximately 17 million people don't have enough food in Yemen.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of Yemeni people are suffering and dying due to a lack of medical resources.
A child under the age of 5 dies every ten minutes.
The country is going through a civil war between the Houthi Shia rebel group backed by Iran and the Yemeni government backed by multiple countries such as Saudi Arabia, which started in 2015, and the conflict is still present today. This bloody conflict has taken many lives and has destroyed the countries infrastructure.
